Since a time before measure there was nothing; nothing to be observed and no one to do the observing. Then came Creation, and with it Time and Space. The expanding of infinity, the explosion of stars scattering across the heavens by the hand of gravity, like pebbles strewn across a pond. A Universe of infinite reach, and in time diversity of life to see, to grow, to observe.
But even in infinity there is a first time, a first event, for everything. From deep within the womb of space, far back into the stretch of time, it came. An object like no other before it, reaching, stretching, molding time and space to its calculating will. Then it happened, though precious few around to observe.
A stretch across infinity, a breach through time, it leaps. A single intelligent object unlike any before. Reaching, searching, until in all that infinity of being it finds what it seeks….
