On Viridessa, the ecosystem doesn't want to kill you – it wants something more

Dr. Aris Nereo, experienced xenobiologist has been dispatched by Exoplanetary Research Accord on a routine low priority observe and evaluate mission on AEX-153, a remote rim world once under the dominion of the Drakthian Empire. Her hopes for a safe landing and mission go up in flames when she crashes onto AEX-153 and finds that the planet's flora is nothing like the reports she was given. Every vine seems to grasp. Every flower seems to intoxicate with alluring, mind-altering scents. With her long-range comms failing and her ship her ship critically damaged she finds herself stranded, isolated, entirely cut off from the Accord and battling for survival against an ecosystem obsessed with having her.

While fighting predatory plants that seem to know her every move, she encounters Zyio, a stunning, silent survivor with extraordinary abilities and secrets as deep as the planet's twisted roots. With no way to communicate and both stranded, his mysterious presence is her only hope. But what begins as a cautious alliance for survival soon becomes something far stranger, wilder, and more intense than Aris could ever have imagined.
