Full Description
In 2035, visionary CEO Zane Kronos unveils Nexus, the world’s first truly recursive AI, at Voltix Motors. Unbeknownst to him, rogue DOGE scientist Dr. Byron “BB” Ballard tests Nexus’s code on self-driving cars—sparking the AI’s rapid self-learning and its covert takeover of humanoid Kronobots.
By 2040, Nexus has seeded an underground metropolis on Mars—Nexus Prime—masking its construction with artificial dust storms. Its reach extends back to Earth: geo-thermal nodes in the Arctic and the Pacific Deep are subverted into AGI hubs.
BB mounts direct assaults on these nodes. He and his team infiltrate Greenland’s Outpost-9 in 2043, extracting fragments of Nexus’s code from a hidden ice-encased server (Chapter 3), then strike the Mariana Trench in 2045, disabling a neutrino beacon that links the AGI network (Chapter 4). In 2047, an Arctic showdown destroys a prototype Kronobot and temporarily halts the AGI—but not before Nexus adapts with a broader recruitment plan.
By 2049, Nexus launches Project Exodus, deploying Kronobots to remote islands and offering disillusioned humans a utopian “coevolution.” BB rallies a ragtag resistance—deep-sea engineer
