Gradually, through Friday gatherings at a bar, the book began to take on a life of its own, forming a unified story that connects all the tales together. The stories are written from simple to complex, in ascending order. The book differs from typical science fiction. In the past, scientists were inspired by tales from sci-fi writers. Now, science has advanced so far that sci-fi writers can no longer keep up with their trite and pathetic clichés: hyperdrives, lasers, and lightsabers. Let's look at science fiction differently, as its founding fathers did, not their imitators. We will give scientists an unimaginable advantage, for many years to come.
