Who would take it, where would they go, and what would it be like for them when they got there?” I’m sure it’s science fiction. It has some elements of astronomy, spaceflight and alternate-history. Some people feel like we’ve already been ‘jumped’ into an alternate universe, for a while. I’ve even heard commentators refer to our present time-line, as ‘Earth-2.’ Sometimes, it feels like that to me.
How would people react to refugees from another universe? Would people escaping from a USA where democracy appeared to be collapsing be welcomed in a universe where things were more reasonable? What is ‘reasonable’ anyway? A lot of people aren't reasonable.
