Forensic and technical experts soon arrived at the scene, filling the originally quiet space. Alyssa watched them start their work, taking pictures, collecting evidence, and conducting preliminary forensic analysis. In the process, she tried to sort out her thoughts.
"Detective Moran," forensic doctor Phillips came over with some equipment in his hand, "Preliminary observation, the time of death was approximately between 2 and 4 a.m. last night. Strangely, the wound was very precise, as clean as a surgical operation."
Alyssa nodded, thinking about what this precision might mean. "Did you find any weapons?"
"No, at least not at the scene." Phillips replied.
Alyssa's eyes fell on the photo on the bedside table again. She picked up the photo and looked at it carefully. Davis and Aisha looked so close that it almost made people forget that Aisha was just a machine. "We must find Aisha," she said to herself, "This is not just a matter of retrieving a machine."
At this time, technical expert Eric came over with a small data analyzer in his hand. "We checked the security system of the apartment. Strangely, the system was turned off at some time last night, which coincided with the time of death."
"Did someone do this on purpose?" Alyssa asked.
"It's possible, but we need to investigate further." Eric continued, "I'm already tracking Elsa's positioning chip, but it seems that someone interfered with the signal, or...she turned it off herself."
