Even in the far distant future where problems such as famine and disease are nonexistent, war still continues. After decades of fighting between the NATO alliance and the Soviet Union, a peace is finally reached. To commemorate this new partnership, a large military exercise is held by the forces of both factions on the NATO controlled moon. Millions of fighting men and women board ships heading towards the moon, entire fleets are recalled back home, and agencies from both sides broadcast the operation to the public. Jarith Kane, a raw recruit from Alaska, is partaking in this operation. Kane believes everything will go smoothly, he believes peace will finally be achieved for mankind, but he will soon be witness to the very end of humanity.
