Scientists from both East and West despair as there seems to be no remedy. The only way out is to prevent the anomaly from developing in the first place. Someone must board the Russian Vostok-6 capsule in 1963, replacing the first female cosmonaut, Valentina Tereshkova. In 2032, however, there is only one person who has all the necessary skills - Mandy Neumann.
