Technicus is the last episode of The Book of Xaal and completes the Summer Haven series.

As a man who has lost everything in a post-apocalyptic society, can Darius continue a one-man crusade against Moonspice dealers after he finds something to live for? Earth’s civilisation has regressed to a small number of primeval communes, following the collapse of the post-apocalyptic society put in place during the repatriation of Earth from Moon Haven. The communities are controlled by the Spicer’s Guild who openly peddle the Moonspice hallucinogen in the streets of Athena, Barco and Ren, where dangerous spectres rule the shadows. Only one man is prepared to stand up for his beliefs. This man is the only warrior prepared to take the fight to the vile Spicers, following the murder of his family.

Can the Carbonheart bring down a corrupt society, when there is precious few who will support him for fear of brutal recriminations? Can a single man restore the balance, and discover the means to overcome the dominion of the Xaal? On his own, the answer can only be no.
