Set in the early 2030s, the book tells the story of Dillon Saunders, a young subatomic particle scientist, who covertly manipulates a classified government project commissioned to create a faster-than-light space engine using time distortion technology. While working on the project, Dillon devises a way to alter the faster-than-light pulse to return encrypted information taken from the internet 24 hours in advance. The future information cannot be changed but only altered slightly.

His secret system reveals that an imminent cyberattack on the world financial structure could destroy all monetary systems, creating a global catastrophe. Dillon is desperate to warn of the impending disaster but does not know whom to trust with his secret discovery. He also knows that if the military finds out about the technology he used for his information system, they could turn the classified Resharicle Pulse into a powerful destructive weapon. Time is running out before total financial chaos and military anarchy engulfs the world.

Resharicle (Regenerative Shared Particles), as the project is named, was taken from the technology model for creating an energy source through a composite regenerating system of interlacing photons combined with subatomic particles—tachyons, neutrinos, and the recently discovered Quari-49 boson—with interlacing being the unique characteristic that braids photons and subatomic particles into a helical stream of pulsed energy. These particles are believed to be faster than light, a core component of the Resharicle Model.

The output of the Resharicle Model is the Pulse (Particle Unified Laced Spectrum Energy), which is intended to surpass the speed of light. Analogous to a laser beam, it contains an enormous amount of condensed energy when released. The Pulse was designed to provide the thrust necessary to propel a large spacecraft.
