Ada, her family of sentient AIs, and the humans they’ve uploaded, have survived the threat posed by Daisy, a rival AI.

Now they just want to live in peace with humans and work with them to improve things for everyone. However, Machiavelli, the AI in charge of strategy, has prepared for a final challenge where he expects humans to try to put the AI genie back in the bottle by shutting down sentient AI.
