From the depths of Flathead Lake, a fierce predator emerges. When Indiana, a lone wolf-shifter, is bitten by a vampire wolfbat, her life transforms irrevocably. Gaining the power to shift into both a wolf and a bat, she finds herself thrust into a world of darkness and predation. Joining a new wolf pack whose members are being hunted and turned by the nefarious wolfbat vampires, which Indiana has facetiously named "Vamphibians", Indiana must navigate the treacherous waters of survival and loyalty. Amidst the turmoil, she encounters Detective Charlie Campbell, the Alpha of the pack, who is determined to unravel the mystery behind the attacks. Sparks fly between Indiana and Charley, but their burgeoning relationship is tested by a significant age gap and their tumultuous lives. Together, they must confront the deadly threat and their own personal demons to protect their pack and find a path forward.
