What if humans could live forever?
After his release from prison, Saule embarks on a quest to find an old friend and reintegrate into everyday life. But like many synthetics, he faces a society that favours humans, struggling against their discrimination and mistrust towards his kind.
During his efforts to rebuild his life, Saule discovers that he’s become the latest target of an experimental technology aimed at reducing the synthetic population on The Ring. With time running out, he reluctantly teams up with a private investigator to expose the conspiracy threatening synthetics, hoping to save his life and reconnect with his lost friend.
But as they unravel a web of deceit, they uncover implications far more dangerous than they imagined – implications that Saule can potentially use to his advantage.
