As related in Part One, scientists have accidentally created a microscopic black hole that threatens to swallow the Earth. A diverse cast of characters reacts in different ways. Neeka and Nemo, two children from an uncontacted tribe in Asia, have acquired internet access and have decided to move to Mars. Norman, a disgraced scientist, and his benefactor, a wealthy businessman, plan to hijack the International Space Station. Yusup, a Turkmen geologist, finds himself the head of an audacious project to contain the black hole itself.
Based on the latest science concerning black holes, geology and space travel, this story ranges from the Earth's core to interplanetary space.
