Full Description
Language is probably the thing that most clearly distinguishes humans from animals. We owe our intelligence and our ability to think abstractly to it—at least according to some philosophers. But we have also not lost our emotionality, which is much more pronounced in the animal world. The mixture of these two driving forces—intellect and emotions— often leads to conflicts in our daily lives. The harmonization of these two aspects can perhaps best be observed in music. If it is possible to harmonize the two with its help, this can lead to a higher level of communication and quality of life.
