Canaan continues the story of the engineering family on the space traveling garage and tow ship Scrap. The family now operates three ships -- the family ship Scrap, the daughter's tender Orion's Bow and the son's fast cargo hauler White Wing. Canaan is a tale about an enemy of the Karpinens trying to ruin their company. Rusty and Pirkko take on the task of stopping this galaxy-wide crime ring. The action starts on New Soumi and ends on a frontier planet called Canaan. Rusty takes on a new role trying to build and protect the Commonwealth as well as his family.
