Technological progress – such as of the Artificial Intelligence – is already beyond human control (perhaps it could never have been slowed down). Society – actually the beneficiary and driver of AI development – is increasingly dissatisfied with it and some are deliberately stoking existing fears. Of course, selfish (mostly financial, sometimes power-driven) interests are trying to abuse the uncontrollability and eat their own humble pie – and sometimes it turns into a big pastry, too big, with unforeseeable consequences.
