The galaxy is changing again. In the months following the Infernite Revolution, the Orion Coalition has been working hard to maintain peace and order in the Milky Way. Daniel and Caitlin have hung up their swords, searching for a life of peace, away from the trials and tests they have faced. And Max has begun to experience hints and dreams in his mind, dreams that open up into his distant past. And he cannot pinpoint where they are coming from.

Though there is peace, signs of evil lurk everywhere, not just outside the Coalition, but inside of it as well. And peace is clearly temporary for the Orion's Hunters, who find their values and ideals tested more than ever before by an onslaught of attacks from all sides. And when a new enemy more powerful than any they have ever faced seemingly rises from the dead, the Hunters begin to wonder if perhaps, in this instance, not even their very best is enough to prevail in battle.

In this third installment of the action-packed saga, Daniel, Caitlin, and their friends will be tested beyond their limits, by the living, by the dead, and, perhaps, by death itself.
